Crem Recruitment has been appointed to recruit for a key business within the manufacturing industry who operate on the outskirts of Cambridge, Fulbourn, CB21
The successful CNC Machine Operative will be expected to carry out the following tasks:
· Loading material onto machines.
· Machine setting, using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
· Using hand tools and power tools to remove debris from products.
· Reading technical drawings and measurements.
· Unloading finished products from machines.
· Quality checks of finished goods.
Hours and Pay:
· Monday to Thursday, Fridays Off!
· 6:45am – 5pm, 30 minute break
· Temporary to Permanent Contract.
· DOE
· On-site parking.
To be considered for this CNC Machinist role, you will have experience in the following:
· Must have machine setting and operating experience.
· Experience using Fanuc and/or Heidenahin controls
· Knowledge of both reading and navigating programs
· A strong understanding of technical drawings
· Be reliable and trustworthy
· A very strong eye for detail
· Flexibility for moving around the workshop for cover
· Experience of working in an engineering environment
