Machine Operator with Forklift Leigh-on-Sea, England
Job description
Are you mechanical/electrically minded with experience from a production environment with a forklift licence. Our client is based in Leigh on Sea and specialise in design and manufacture of high performance packaging systems for the retail, medical and entertainment industries.

The main responsibilities of this position is to oversee the running of various machines regarding the manufacturing/quality control/packing of products.
You will need to be able to read what is required of the cut, set up the machine making sure that H & S is adhered to, load and unload machine of materials pre-cut and post-cut and make sure that cutting is accurate and using all available space on specific materials (paper/card/board). No heavy lifting is required but materials can be bulky in their size.
Ideally we are looking for a candidate who has previous production/machine operation experience with knowledge of Corel DRAW an advantage or a similar package (as training will be given). Previous knowledge of using cutting/guillotine type machinery would also be an advantage.
Forklift Licence is required
