Location: Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire
Salary: £11.68 Per Hour

We are looking for Technical Operator!
At our Production site based in Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire we are looking for a motivated, positive team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading fresh produce supplier in the UK. We’re dedicated to using the very best of sustainable farming techniques in our own farming and collaborating with other expert farmers. We grow the finest quality potatoes and root vegetables which we pack ourselves to supply to our customers.
You will join us on a fulltime, permanent contract.
The shift pattern will be on a 4 on 4 off pattern arrangement working from from 06:00 – 18:00.
Responsibility
The Job Role
As a Technical Operator, you will be responsible for operating a range of production machinery (including but not limited to Check weighers, VFF baggers, Gillenkirch and Rovema) efficiently and safely.
Key responsibilities Include:
– Manage the line on a day to day basis and achieve daily performance measures, OEE, Labour Productivity, PPM
– Work as a Team with line staff, Shift Manager, Quality Auditor and Production Manager to meet the required standards
– Lead by example to promote Health and Safety at work
– Dispense on line training and mentoring of new starters
– Take responsibility to ensure all startup/shut down checks are carried out
– Ensure all job information is correctly input in to the ice printers, i.e. variety, grower code, date, grower
– Carry out required quality control checks to ensure this meets each customer specification

What we are looking for
- Ideally you will have experience of running a high speed packing line in a time pressured environment.
- Experience of FMCG and food manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
- A real team player with a positive attitude to implement change.
- An ability to show initiative and to work collaboratively with others across the business.
