Pace Recruitment Services are excited to be working with the fantastic reputable company based in the Andover area of Hampshire. We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to work on on a temporary ongoing basis for 12 weeks with a view to becoming permanent at the end of the 12 weeks if you get on well!
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our client's production team with the primary function of programming and operating the wood shop CNC machines to manufacture customer orders.
As a CNC Machine Operator you will be:
- Programming and operating the CNC Beam Saw and CNC Routers to manufacture the wood based component parts for our products in the most efficient way possible
- Lifting and carrying materials or products.
- Reading technical drawings.
- Other general CNC Machine Operative duties
Ideally previous experience and skills for this role would include:
- VCarve or AlphaCam software (not essential)
- At least 1-2 years previous experience working with similar wood based CNC machines on an assembly line or in a similar product manufacturing background.
- Joinery, upholstery, machining or sewing (not essential)
Our client will consider taking people with basic machine operating experience who would be keen to learn and train on CNC machines.
The working hours are Monday to Friday from 7am until 3.15pm.
Hourly pay is between £11.00 and £13.00 per hour depending on experience, paid weekly in arrears.
