Morgan King have partnered with a well-established furniture manufacturing business based in South Leeds (LS10).

Due to sustained growth, they are looking to hire band saw operators to join their business on temp to permanent basis.

Working hours:

• Monday to Wednesday, 3.15pm - 1.45am
• Thursday, 3.15pm - 00.45am
• Plenty of overtime available.

Pay:

• £ 12.63 per hour average, broken up as below:
• £11 per hour up to 6pm
• £13.20 per hour after 6pm

Start date / duration:

• We are currently taking application with a view to interview and offer the role as soon as possible.

Responsibilities (Band Saw Operator):

• Full training can be provided
• Working in a machine shop, machining furniture elements using band saws
• Checking quality of elements coming from the machine
• Ensure production paperwork is completed
• Report any issues with equipment or materials to supervisor
• Training to operate other machines on site including CNC

The successful Band Saw Operator will:

• Have previous experience in similar role or have solid machine operating experience
• Be willing to learn
• Have good communication and numerical skills
• Have excellent work ethics
• Be able to work on own initiative as well as within a team
• Be motivated and enthusiastic.
