Overview of the role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join JCB Golf & Country Club’s award-winning Golf Operations team. A role that provides our members and guests with memorable experiences from the moment they arrive until they depart after a day spent on the golf course.

Your Responsibilities as a Golf Operations Assistant:

• Maintain all Golf standards, including but not limited to cleaning, reception duties, membership show-rounds, report generation, data capture, ordering and delivery.
• To provide a consistently high level of service and hospitality to all Members, Guests and Customers always and in all areas of the Golf Operations.
• Use the Golf IT systems effectively and ensure all data is entered correctly and updated accordingly.
• To ensure that all areas of the Golf Operation function smoothly and in accordance with the standards laid out within JCB Golf & Country Clubs relevant SOPs.
• Ensure the Golf facilities are kept to the highest possible standard through checklist and cleaning.
• Attend and be actively involved in regular monthly Team meetings.
• Regularly check the departments maintenance and report any faults to your line manager.
• To ensure compliance with H&S legislation and Company Country Club Guidelines including completion of H&S Checks and Checklists.
• Take golf reservations and ensure that all golf bookings are correctly inputted into Concept booking system.
• Check-in all golfers and support the day-to-day management of tee times.
• Support the daily management and maintenance of the buggy fleet and operation, including cleaning, staging and ensuring that sufficient buggies are available to cater for both that day and the following day’s business.
• Ensure that all equipment rented and used by guests are sanitised/cleaned before and after use in accordance with JCB Golf & Country Clubs standards.
• Assist with ball control and cleanliness at the Golf Academy/ range.
• Carry out course marshalling duties.

About you:

We are looking for someone with a ‘can-do’ attitude, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for offering a fantastic customer experience.

• Golfing background is essential.
• Ability to work within a team with common objectives.
• High standards of personal presentation and appearance.
• Must be available to attend on-going training as required.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, daytimes, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
