Heavy Equipment Operator, Landscape Construction
MINI EXCAVATOR OPERATOR, LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION - NEEDED ASAP
ABOUT US Established in 1996, Greenfield Landscaping is a landscape construction company located on the North Shore, currently recruiting for a skilled equipment operator who specializes in residential excavation and is familiar and skilled working in varying elevations and tight spaces.
THE JOB Complete Machine Work / Excavation on various jobs primarily on the North Shore. This is not a light-duty labour position, and you won't just be sitting behind a machine all day every day. Job is primarily machine work and machine maintenance, but when needed you will be helping the rest of the crew with things like general labour, moving materials, general hardscaping and related work. BONUS POINTS IF YOU ARE ALSO AN EXPERIENCED HARDSCAPE INSTALLER/SUPERVISOR, OR WORKING YOUR WAY TOWARDS A SUPERVISOR POSITION.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Min. 500hrs in E50/CAT308 or comparable and 3-years’ RECENT concurrent general machine operation experience working in a similar environment. Must be able to take direction, prioritize and organize yourself to complete assigned tasks.
• MUST poses a Valid BC Driver’s license
• MUST be physically able to perform all tasks associated with the job, be on your feet for a full shift, perform heavy lifting etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$37.00 per hour
