Labelling Operative/Machine Minders

Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Rotational Shifts – 6:00am to 2:00pm, 10:00pm to 6:00am and 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Pay: £10.99 per hour please note this will increase when permanent

Fresh Start Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Labelling Operatives/Machine Minders

to work for our client an expanding packaging company.

Responsibilities:

· To supply specified plastic material and colourant to each machine and change the material for each batch run checking material handling equipment and cleaning filters as required.

· To carry out clean down procedures on equipment after tool or colour change.

· To carry out dosing procedures and set valves to proportion the input to achieve correct standard.

· To maintain and clean grinding machines ensuring safety checks are applied.

· To carry out the duties of raw materials handling when requested.

· To keep and maintain records.

· To assist Team Leaders in planning production requirements to appropriate machines ensuring materials are available.

· To change regranulated material bags as necessary returning full bags to their allocated area.

· To undertake relief operations as necessary.

· To notify Team Leaders on the availability of grinding machines.

· To work along with Team Leaders and Team Members to maintain effectiveness of team and area performance.

· To work along with Team Leaders and Team Members to identify team and work area problems and assist in implementation of improvement plans.

FSR Limited is a family owned company located in Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. We are looking for a full-time Labeler to join our team. This position will be responsible for the production of custom labels for wine, spirits, and beer products. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, has good time management skills, and is willing to work in a team environment.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Must have the ability to pass a background check.
- Must have the ability to pass a drug test.
- Must have the ability to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment.
- This position requires lifting, bending, bending stooping, and walking for up to 8 hours per day.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Salary: £10.99 per hour
