Job description
Engage Recruitment are recruiting Extrusion Operators to work for our client, a market leading manufacturing company based in Port Talbot.
Job Purpose:
To produce finished product and pack product to meet customer specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Carry out visual and actual safety checks for relevant machinery
- Monitor operation of printer and top up with ink.
- Setting and adjusting machine for each product
- Log and summarise all QA checks.
- Follow correct packing procedure / label information
- Ensuring machines are set in accordance with health and safety policies
- Ensuring a clean, tidy and safe working environment is maintained
- Ensuring finished product is given a first-off stamp by QA
The candidate must have:
- Keen eye for detail
- Fantastic work ethic
- Team player
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Previous experience operating machinery
The package and company
Salary: £11.35 per hour
Working Hours: Continental Shifts (14 shifts over 4 weeks)
Days 06:00 - 18:00, Nights 18:00 - 06:00
