Job description
Crem Recruitment has been appointed to recruit for a key business within the manufacturing industry.
Our client is looking to recruit several Machine Operatives to work at their busy factory in Mildenhall (Suffolk).
Duties
- Loading raw material onto machines
- Running pre-set machinery to client specification
- Using hand tools and power tools removes debris from products.
- Unloading finished products from machines.
- Quality checks of finished goods.
- Maintaining good housekeeping and reporting near misses/unsafe activity.
Hours & Pay
Applicants will need to be able to work 12-hour shifts between the hours of 6 am – 6 pm and the shift rotation will include one weekend day.
Normal working hours: Approx 77 hours over 2 weeks.
The first 4 -6 weeks will be a training on Monday to Friday 8 am – 4 pm, paying £11.25 per hour.
Lots of overtime available at the time and a half rate.
Pay rate:
£12.83 per hour
Personal Specification
Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a Manufacturing, Engineering, or Machine operation environment.
- Be reliable and trustworthy.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to read technical specifications and communicate effectively.
