Job description
Taylor Blackwood Associates are now looking for a Night machine operator for our client near the Walsall area.
This role will lead to a permanent position after 13 weeks of a temporary to permanent period.
Job Details:
*Monday-Friday
*6pm-4am
*Overtime available with increased rate of time and a third
*Pay rate is £14ph
You will ideally have experience with CNC Machinery, welding friction machines, welding robots etc.
After a successful 12 week period your rate will increase.
There will be chance to progress in this role but you must have relevant experience to be considered.
Duties:
- Operate and monitor machines in a manufacturing environment
- Package finished products according to specifications
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
- Use hand tools and tooling to make adjustments and perform minor repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with materials handling and inventory management
Experience:
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques is beneficial
