What Will You Do?
A bindery operator is responsible to set up and operate industrial printing equipment to produce quality finished products.
- Set-up and operate bookbinding equipment
- Adjust machinery to ensure efficient operation and quality printing is maintained.
- Review job orders to determine production time and quantities required
What Will Help You Succeed?
Experience
Working on any of the below pieces of equipment will be considered an asset:
- Collator
- Industrial Knives,
- Hot stamper
Skills
- Experience operating industrial machinery is considered an asset
- Excellent Mechanical and Mathematical skills
Mandatory Requirements
- Ability to work all shift schedules including days, nights, evenings, and overtime as required
- Completion of Journeymen Apprenticeship & Journeymen bookbinder certification
- Secret Level Clearance, or ability to obtain secret level clearance
- Located in Ottawa ON, or willing to relocate.
