New England Seafood International Limited (NESI) is a highly respected, London-based importer, processor and supplier of fresh and frozen premium sustainable fish and seafood to retailers and leading food-service brands in the UK and Northern European markets. The company was founded by Fred Stroyan in 1991, and Fred remains involved in the business.

We are seeking hard working and conscientious candidates to support our factory operations team. The shift will be Saturday & Sunday 2pm - 10pm
Role Accountabilities:
· To set and change over the machines within the line using tools and equipment to produce the product to the agreed standard. To check, measure and record parameters as required. To plan and execute repairs to suit production requirements with engineering.
· Ensure quality of finished goods through the equipment.
· To be owner and record keeper of the line downtime issue log book.
· To adhere and perform tasks to a planned preventative maintenance plan. To liase with the line lead and engineering in maximizing the production whilst adhering to the plan.
· Understand and involved with stock management and control in Engineering Stores
· To be flexible to meet production requirements and to learn and adopt lean manufacturing tool& techniques.
· Maintain the line / machine in a clean, clear and well-organized fashion (5s) and to use any downtime effectively.
· To remove jams from the equipment within the line or machine. Log and assist engineering and production in the creation of long-term fixes.
· To work with the line lead to improve overall line efficiency’s, using basic problem-solving tools.
· Ensure all operations are conducted to maintain a high level of health and safety.
· Undertake internal and off-site training to gain in depth machine knowledge and pass that information on to others.
