Job description
gap personnel is recruiting for Machine Operative for our well-established client in Cricklade, Swindon.
As a Machine Operative you will be a part of the Production Team. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and operating warehouse equipment.
The role involves:
· Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machine
· Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
· Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
· Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
The ideal candidate will:
· Be self-motived and hard-working
· Be able to work independently and as part of a team
· Have own transport due to location
Shift: Monday to Friday, 3.15pm- 11.15pm
Hourly rate of pay:
£10.42 basic + 20% shift allowance = £12.50
