This is an exciting opportunity to work at our flagship UK Dairy, Aylesbury;
- According to government figures, the UK dairy industry produces 15,008 billion litres of milk annually (that includes milk used for cheese and butter etc). The capacity of Aylesbury Dairy is 1.03 billion litres annually.
- We were the first dairy site to use AGV technology to move TETs with milk
- Our cold store area is 1.5 times the size of Wembley’s football pitch
- We made a few appearances on TV including BBC’s ‘Inside the Factory’ and Chanel 4 ‘Food unwrapped’
The opportunity;
You will be responsible for managing aspects of Engineering Compliance as well as being the Technical Systems Owner for Electrical Infrastructure, Building Fabric/Site and other specific systems in order to ensure effective operation and maintenance for our Aylesbury Dairy site;
The specialist role is responsible for structured troubleshooting on utility equipment & systems, to provide the Site effective proactive maintenance service.
- Delivering CI Projects and equipment/ process modifications (including associated change control) and Technical input into CAPEX Projects
- Delivering Maintenance Strategy actions
- Executing planned maintenance activities requiring specialist expertise
- Managing suppliers and specific contracts, including control of works
- Managing specific QEHS compliance aspects and compliance improvements
- Developing SOP’s and work instructions
- Ensuring structured updating and maintenance on designated equipment
- Other specific subject areas by role (not an exclusive list):
- Lead Site Electrical Duty holder - compliance requirements and Maintenance of all HV and LV distribution
- Manage Site hard facilities planned and unplanned requirements for larger work packages, small works delivered by Energy Centre Team.

What you’ll need to be a successful Electrical and Compliance Specialist at Aylesbury Dairy:
- Qualified Electrical Engineer -
- Electrically trained Apprenticeship to NVQ level 3 or C&G equivalent
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
- Desirable – ONC/ HNC Electrical Engineering
- Desirable HV AP/SAP
- Experience of being a Site Electrical Duty Holder
- Engineering Services Technical maintenance experience and qualifications on utility equipment.
- Use of maintenance related tools such as - Condition Based Monitoring (CBM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and use of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as SAP PM
- Food safety awareness such as HACCP
- EHS knowledge
- Stakeholder management
- Supplier Relationships
