Job Specification

Flatbed Van Driver

Due to our exciting expansion plans, we are now looking for an experienced Long Distance Flatbed Delivery Driver to deliver barriers and fencing to a variety of customers throughout the UK.

Key Accountabilities:

· Working with the Sales Operations Manager to ensure that routes efficiently planned, and the office are kept informed of progress

· Delivering customers products to the requested destination whilst providing exceptional customer service as part of a daily route.

· Ensure that all products are secured safely to mitigate Health and Safety risks as well as damage to stock

· Updating the team on transportation issues by taking factors like roadblocks and traffic into consideration

· Updating route, mileage, and delivery logs

· There will be some requirement for occasional overtime work

Person Specification:

· Must have a valid driving license (UK or EU) for at least 5 years,

· Experience of driving for long-distances, specifically driving a flatbed van

· Maximum of 3 points on license with no restrictions.

· Experience providing exceptional customer service, with a can-do attitude and superb time keeping.

· Fluent written & spoken English

Work Hours:

·40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 6am – 3pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. May be required to work overtime.

Salary: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
• Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kingswinford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Driving: 5 years (required)
