Job description
We are seeking an experienced long distance courier driver to complete 1-man deliveries across the UK.
Based in Huddersfield, you will be travelling the length and breadth of the country each week.
We deliver varied items such as tables, sofas, mattresses, beds, flat-pack furniture as well as antiques and large retro furniture such as sideboards, wardrobed and everything in between.
Averaging 12 deliveries per day. you would start at 5:30am with an expected finish time of 6pm - traffic permitting!
There would be 2 overnight stays per week with paid hotels and meal allowances.
You would be required to work 2 weekends per month.
This role would be ideally suited for someone who enjoys being on the open road but who can also deal with heavy lifting and challenging customers.
We are looking for an immediate start.
Due to our insurance requirements, we cannot consider any driver under the age of 30 or who has more than 6 points on their licence.
