We offer a broad consulting capability across business strategy, public policy, organisational capability, executive talent and development, transformational change and digital strategy and capability.
Typical projects you might work on include:
- help to improve the student experience at large universities through journey mapping and pain-point analysis
- work with government departments to coordinate resources to solve real world problems
- use a data-led approach to help utilise assets and provide an evidence base for service re-design
- re-design education functions and programme architecture for large, research-intensive universities

At Nous, we set you up for success. We have designed a graduate induction program to help you learn key consulting skills and extend your knowledge quickly. Your development doesn't end at induction, it continues for your time at Nous with a wide range of learning opportunities through check-ins, webinars, online training, on-project learning and formal learning programs. Our graduate consultants have the opportunity to work across different sectors and capabilities. You'll gain experience across strategy, transformation & implementation, organisational performance, leadership & capability, data & analytics, digital, and design.
What does it take?
To succeed in a graduate consulting role at Nous, you are:
- enthusiastic, curious, and willing to learn
- intelligent and academically accomplished - a 2:1 or 1st class undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree is essential
- able to undertake structured analysis in a logical and efficient manner
- able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
- well organised, with the ability to manage multiple pieces of work simultaneously
- comfortable working autonomously and in a self-managed way, using initiative to draw on the expertise of those around you
- able to analyse quantitative and qualitative data.
The process will consist of an interview with a member of the recruitment team, and interviews with members of the London team that may include case studies. Please keep an eye on your emails (and spam folders).
