Job description
Zedify is seeking a dedicated and motivated Bike Courier to join our team and work alongside our partners in Bermondsey, London.
As a full-time Bike Courier (5 days per week), you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and timely delivery of packages to our valued customers, while representing our partners brand through excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely navigate assigned delivery routes within the Bermondsey area using a company-provided bicycle.
Pick up and deliver packages promptly and accurately while adhering to established delivery schedules.
Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to our partners uniform and appearance standards.
Use handheld devices and company-provided technology to scan packages, track deliveries, and update delivery status in real-time.
Ensure packages are securely loaded and unloaded, preventing any damage during transportation.
Report any discrepancies, delays, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager promptly.
Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while cycling and operate the bicycle in a safe and responsible manner.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet delivery deadlines.
Physical fitness and ability to ride a bicycle for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
Previous experience as a bike courier, delivery driver, or similar role is preferred.
Comfortable using handheld devices and technology for tracking and updating delivery information.
Salary:
£11.95 PH /£13.89 PH inc Holiday Pay/Clothing allowance (Real London Living Wage: Varied Hour Contract includes Sick pay and Injury insurance)
