LONDON BASED HOLIDAY/CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES – TRAVEL AND HOSPITALITY
We are currently recruiting a team of Holiday Reps to work at our central London hotels or at Heathrow Airport.
Candidates need to be available for a seasonal contract from Tuesday 11th April through to Monday 2nd October, although this could be extended.
Our Holiday Reps look after our overseas guests ensuring they enjoy their stay in London.
To prepare for your new role, you will participate in a comprehensive 2 week training programme commencing Tuesday 11th April, where you will learn about the Company, its products and experience the activities and attractions we offer our guests during their holiday with us.
Our Holiday Reps work 40 hours per week across a 7 day rotating shift pattern. One full Saturday/Sunday weekend off is allocated every 4 weeks. You may also take up to 1 week’s holiday during the term of your contract. We also have a small number of part-time seasonal roles available with flexible working hours and days if you wish to discuss further.
You will receive a competitive monthly salary of £1,975 and will be provided with a smart uniform. We also have ample overtime opportunities available should you be interested as well as an end of contract bonus payable on completion of the contract term.
Job Role:
- Meeting and greeting our guests on arrival at our London hotels or London Heathrow Airport.
- Promoting and selling our in-house excursion programme.
- Overseeing tour departures from our London hotels and welcoming guests back from their tours as they arrive in London.
- Liaising with your colleagues in the Holiday Rep team, office-based colleagues, and our team of Tour Guides to ensure our guests experience a memorable holiday.
- Liaising with the staff at our contract hotels to ensure all our guests’ needs are met during their stay in London.
- Escorting our guests on coach transfers to and from St Pancras International and Kings Cross stations.
- Completing daily administrative duties.
- Overtime opportunities are offered to Holiday Reps both during the working day with additional hours, or by escorting evening dinner and theatre excursions.
Job Specification:
- You should have excellent interpersonal skills; be outgoing, friendly, flexible and reliable. Guests should find you approachable, helpful and you should be able to build a good rapport with them.
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
- Strong communication skills.
- Be proud of your appearance as you will be the first and last impression guests have of the Company
- Be a team player; allowing you to work and communicate professionally with others.
- Punctuality and excellent time management is essential as shifts can start as early as 7:00am for hotel-based Holiday Reps or 6.00 am for those based at London Heathrow Airport.
- Take responsibility for daily tasks and ensure they are dealt with professionally.
- Previous experience of the travel or hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
