The purpose of the Logistics & Warehouse Team Leader is to support the team by identifying and implementing efficiencies while ensuring operational success within the Warehouse and Shipping Departments.
Key Objectives
- Resource planning to maximise efficiency and ensure operational success
- Drive continuous improvement opportunities
- Adherence to Stock Management Systems
- Management of SLED (Shelf Life Expiry Date) controlled process
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal customers
- Assist with employee training and development
- Ensure full compliance to Export Control and HMRC regulations
- Ensure full adherence to Quality & HSE policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the compliance of exports (domestic and international) as well as imports
- Ensure there is resource to perform the required technical and other checks, depending on authorizations, to book goods into the system
- Handle administrative disputes, in accordance with relevant procedures, or track the handling of nonconformities with the departments concerned through QRQC
- Manage the handling operations and the transport of products from reception to storage and shipping
- Manage the organization of inventories, in accordance with storage guidelines and 5S rules
- Conduct inventories, in accordance with applicable guidelines, and ensure that system data is consistent with the physical reality
- Prepare for shipping, check that shipping documents are present, perform customs formalities if necessary, perform the required checks and produce product delivery documents
- Organise and plan shipping and/or handover of products to recipients, in line with requirements expressed and contribute to on-time performance
- Ensure that products are identifiable and traceable at all stages of the logistics chain
- Support Export Control, with the creation and management of Export Control licences. This includes keeping up to date with relevant regulations

Qualifications
- English and Maths GCSE grade 9-4 (A*-C)
- Leadership or management training
