The starting salary for this role is £31,262 per annum, based on working 36-hours per week.
We have an opportunity in the team for a Logistics Support Administration Receptionist to join our established team. Your work pattern will be 5 days per week from Wray Park Centre RH2 0EJ - however consideration will be permitted for other working arrangements.

About the role
In this role, you will provide general office administration and legal documentation support to the Engineering and Technical team in order to help ensure that the service carries out its work as effectively as possible and to procure essential supplies and services as necessary.
As a Logistics Support Administration Receptionist, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed processes required for specific aspects of Engineering Support administration. You will invariably have a specialisation of skills and will support a group of team managers and staff. You will be fully versed in all procedures of specialism including complex and confidential work. In this role, you will undertake routine financial functions, use asset management databases, and assist in compilation of data as required by the Operational Support Managers.
Customer service is central to the role as is the ability to process and maintain data in appropriate databases and systems in response to requests for information by Fire and Rescue Managers within defined areas of activity. Accuracy and the production of quality information are key expectations of the role.
Your main duties in the role of a Logistics Support Administrator will include but not be limited to:
- Day to day management of vehicle/assets including defects, accidents and complaints.
- Maintain and update fuel records.
- To provide and maintain hard copy legal documentation.
- Act as first point of contact for customers/front line staff.
About you
To be considered for interview, your application will clearly evidence:
- Relevant business administration or financial qualification to NVQ Level 3, or able to evidence knowledge and understanding of relevant disciplines.
- Good IT, written and oral communications skills.
- Good understanding of how to provide customer focused services.
- Familiarity of asset management and a busy fleet operation.
- An interest in the understanding of motor vehicle technology.
