- Salary £23,000 – £27,000

We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper to be the first point of contact for inventory control who will perform tasks as required for the efficient operations of the specialist equipment stores and manage the inventory of equipment.
How you’ll support us
- Carrying out stores duties as instructed by the customer including day to day operations.
- Stores accounting for all Inventory items and test equipment.
- Issue, receipt, manage calibration and return Inventory items and test equipment.
- Update and maintain Inventory items and test equipment.
- Update and maintain COSHH Inventory items.
- Participate in the planning and conduct of internal and external evaluations of the Inventory Account.
- Provide inventory support at the time of system changes to ensure correct cataloguing and housekeeping.
- To be the first point of contact for all matters relating to inventory control.
- Undertake other tasks to support the team where required.

We’re expecting that you’ve done this role before, so you’ll know how to do it whilst spinning multiple plates:
- A good understanding of MoD Stores operating and management procedures and be able to operate the Authority’s systems, also with experience of working in a MoD stores environment.
Desirable
An understanding of the control and coordination of stores assets using MJDI, complying to Defence Logistics Framework (DLF) Policy.
