Commutable to the Thames Valley region
Experienced in inventory control and Inventory Management Systems.
Demonstrated success managing inventory including auditing and planning future stock requirements.
Effective listening, communication (verbal and written)
Problem-solving and analytical ability
Strong multi-tasking skills
Ability to identify issues, develop solutions & drive results.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail, follow-up and multi-tasking ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Amazon is seeking a motivated, hardworking individual to fill a Logistics Specialist position working at sites within a data centre region. The role requires attention to detail in the receipt, storage, accounting for and onward movement of, goods. They process inbound and outbound shipments, verify inventory, conduct cycle counts, use an Inventory Management System and own chain-of-custody processes for Data Centre Technicians and Engineers. Logistics Specialists will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company. They must also maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all work spaces. The role is active and manual handling is required. Preferred candidates will have experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment. Your role is viewed as one of the key components of our business and will have a direct impact on our operations in the future.

Experience in Lean Operational Practices is a plus.
Experience with Analytics
At least 5 years’ experience in a comparable role
Advanced Excel Spreadsheet Capability
Driving Licence to travel between sites.
