Logistics Planner
Salary up to £35,857 DOE
Working Sunday to Thursday with Friday working on a rotational basis
Typical shift pattern 9:30am - 7:00 pm with flexibility required

Our Brakes Route Planners are the people that help to keep our network running – they not only love to find solutions, but they ensure that everything we do enables us to deliver on our promises to our customers and exceed expectations whilst working together as a team.
Planners Responsibilities at Brakes:
- Take ownership of the optimised daily routing plan, ensuring alignment with operational KPIs and SLAs.
- Look for continued improvement across the Brakes network by looking for efficiencies within the Brakes network.
- Liaise with your drivers, customers, and Account Managers daily to ensure all queries are answered.
- Work closely alongside the operations to review and refine delivery schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and value.
- Provide reports to the wider business that can demonstrate potential opportunities and problems using a range of computer packages.
- Seek continuous improvement in the routing plans by regularly analysing historic data from various systems.
You’ll have:
- Proficient computer skills in a range of packages.
- Excellent administration and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with conflicting deadlines
- A willingness to learn Transport management planning systems and will be flexible enough to work with multiple systems at the same time.
- Knowledge of driver working time directive regulations or a willingness to learn them.
- Forward thinking, striving to make efficient planning.
