Reabrook Ltd are an Employee Ownership Trust based at the heart of the National Forest in Moira. We are a manufacturer of aerosol and liquid chemical products who have been meeting the changing requirements of our customers for over 50 years.
A vacancy has arisen for a Picker in the busy Logistics Department. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking materials from stock for the Aerosol Production departments. The position also includes picking customer orders using FIFO, ensuring goods packed are to customer specifications and complying with ADR and IMDG regulations.
The ideal candidate will need to be organised and thorough, attention to detail is a must together with the ability to process and manage situations which change regularly. Good written and verbal skills are a given.
Main Purpose
· To pick materials from stock for the Blending and Production Departments, working in advance of required date, to agreed timescales and to pick finished goods for dispatch.
· To work with all other departments to maintain and improve service levels for all Reabrook customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Picking production requirements in accordance with specification from pre-defined storage locations.
· To ensure picked production requirements are placed in production pre-defined storage location areas.
· To quantify, record and return production extras to stock ensuring the area supervisor is informed of variances so that accurate recording on EFACS stocks can be maintained.
· Picking customer orders using FIFO, ensuring goods are packed to customer specifications to comply with ADR and IMDG regulations and to seek advice where needed on the packing, segregation and labeling of goods going to overseas customers
· To ensure all customer orders are double checked before release to carriers, unless directed otherwise by Logistics Manager or his Assistant and in specific situations.
· To provide accurate information for Certificate of Conformities and other dispatch documentation.
· Loading carriers and collection vehicles to ensure safe transport of goods ensuring all documentation is filled out and that the driver complies with the ADR requirements and to seek advice where needed on the placarding of any collection vehicle
· To assist in regular stock checks.
· To exercise a high level of care and responsibility in transporting goods to ensure all items remain in the best possible condition.
· Comply with all company policies and procedures and ensure measures are taken to maintain all company accreditations.
