Role description
We are currently looking for a skilled Logistics Manager to join our team. As a Logistics Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain and be responsible for overseeing the outbound logistics and customs compliance for our global supply chain.
In this role, you will take ownership of the entire logistics function, striving to ensure that our global logistics processes are of the highest calibre. Your main objectives will include developing effective and sustainable partnerships with logistics service providers (LSPs), as well as contributing to strategic initiatives aimed at delivering an exceptional gift delivery experience for our valued customers.
Working closely with key stakeholders throughout our organisation and supply chain, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and smooth operation of all logistics activities. Your expertise in cross-border logistics and customs will be crucial in driving our company's growth.

What you’ll be doing
- Oversee our global outbound logistics network while developing and improving relationships with our current carrier network;
- Support cross-border shipping to any part of the world and cultivate relationships with external partners to ensure we can reach customers in every part of the world;
- Manage outbound and customs exceptions in order to ensure successful delivery of all customer orders;
- Build future state relationships with global logistics service providers to drive a more personalised delivery service for our customers and negotiate annual rates with all contracted LSPs;
- Partner with the Head of Supply Chain to develop logistics technology strategy. Project manage integration with future IT systems;
- Innovate and build on our current operations. Help grow and improve our network by adding additional logistics panthers as our customers’ needs evolve;
- Evaluate partner performance via internal and external data. Hold our external partners accountable through regular business reviews and communication;
- Partner with the Customer Success and Product & Engineering teams to diagnose and address challenges within our logistics network.
About you
- 4+ years work experience in logistics roles, supporting a complex, high-growth organisation;
- Strong experience managing global carriers and working with customs clearance;
- Highly-skilled with Excel and experienced with analytics and BI tools;
- Familiarity working with different enterprise systems;
- Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills;
- Strong work ethic; able to independently own and drive projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- You take previous reflections and learnings and use them to improve processes, systems and overall work quality.

Our interview process consists of ️
- You will have a 30-minute interview with a member of our talent team, during which we will focus on discussing your experience, preferred working methods, and how well you align with our company culture.
- You will also have a 30-minute interview with our VP of Supply Chain & Marketplace Product. This interview will assess your compatibility with the team and provide an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.
- Additionally, there will be a 30-minute interview with our Senior Supply Chain Manager, which will also assess team fit and allow you to address any inquiries you might have.
- As a conclusion, there will be a 60-minute Case Study Presentation, where you'll have the chance to present your solution to a take-home challenge to a wider audience. This presentation aims to showcase your abilities and problem-solving skills.
