Logistics Coordinator
Based in Altham.

We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic Logistics Coordinator to join our dedicated logistics team based at Altham. In this demanding, fast paced role you will be the key link between our customers and internal departments.
The Role:
- Manage large high profile customer orders from start to finish, ensuring the whole process runs seamlessly meeting customer demands.
- Co-ordinate transport by communicating and linking with the Client, Sales, Logistics and Install management teams.
- Monitor costs and efficiency of third-party carriers when using them to represent the company.
- Liaise with internal departments, third party resources and customers to fulfil the customer requirements and expectations.
- Manage the quality or product and service being delivered to the customer.
The Person:
- Experience working within in a logistics/transport role.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- A good background working in a customer driven and administrative background.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Good IT knowledge with Microsoft packages.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 17:00pm and Friday 8:30am – 14.30pm.
