We are looking for a Logistics Controller to ensure management of the third party logistics and be the interface between the carrier and the subsidiary sales administration to control day to day deliveries ensuring public health goods arrive to our customers.
What will be your resonsibilities at bioMerieux?
Located in Basingstoke, your responsibilities will be to manage the third party relationship including implementation, performance management, invoice validation, monitoring and contributing to logistics complaints answers in collobaration with the sales administration team.
You will also steer shipping operations and ensure accuracy and alignment between SAP and the management system and perform scraps.
You will also monitor with the third party and local supply chain and sales administration team to priortise activities ( inbound/outbound) in case of delays and perform specific flows related to products ( interfae message creation, customer returns, customer clearance, empty pallet counting and returns to factors).
Who are you?
You will have proven years of experience in a similar position. A degree in logistics or supply chain is desired but not essential. You will be a master of interpersonal relationships and be able to translate goalsinto actions plans with a continous improvement mindset. IT skills in SAP and excel are required and capability of managing outside service providers with a high performance and cost orientated mindset.
