General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time Logistics Co-Ordinator to join our Supply Chain Team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary of £27,600 to £34,500 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally.

Joining an established team based at our Merthyr facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders with responsibilities, for the organisation and management in tracking deliveries for parts, vehicle builds both at site and to the external trial sights that will also require the preparation of shipment documentation in line with the governance requirements.


If you were already working in this position, this is what you would have been working on this week:


  • Arrangement of transport for all good inward and outwards to ensure they are tracked and arrival on time
  • Monitor of costs and ensure best cost option
  • Ensure strict control of Section 1 Explosives substances and articles and Section 5 Weapons.
  • Ensure that all goods moved have been subject to strict compliance controls and all relevant security checks have been conducted prior to movements
