Due to our continued growth, we seek to recruit a Logistics assistant
Job description:
To maintain the serviceability of the fleet, equipment and consumables. Acting autonomously to ensure that the fleet has maximisation of availability. As well as the vital role of preparing emergency vehicles for operational duties, you will support the management of stock and equipment assets and restock module bags destined for the vehicles. Significant care and attention to detail is required in module bag preparation whilst vehicle preparation is undertaken with a record required of every check undertaken.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Stocking the ambulances
- Check vehicle roadworthiness and booking in regular maintenance work
- Checking the functionality of onboard medical and non-medical equipment
- Cleaning the fleet and keeping the garage tidy
- Record keeping of the fleet and stock
- To move vehicles to different locations for refuelling, cleaning, and stocking, and to move them between locations and/or workshops
- Attend Event/Festivals to assist with the set up of Medical Tents/Field Hospitals.

Job Type: Full-time 36 hours a week
Salary: £ 22,464.00
To be short-listed for this position you must meet the following criteria:
- UK C1 licence
- Experience in make-ready or ambulance logistic operations is desirable but not essential
- You must be over the age of 21 with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.

Schedule:
Due to contracts being based across the country, ideal candidates must be a car driver with their own vehicle and willing to travel, as well as being flexible and able to work weekends.
