Crosstown is a scratch bakery, hand making fresh sourdough doughnuts every day from our bakery in Battersea, London. An independent and progressive brand, we are driven by providing the very best experience for our customers through great service and delicious products.
We now have around 30 locations across London, Cambridge, Oxford, Brighton, Bristol and our most recent shop and Bath! Our Logistics team is essential to facilitate the good distribution of product to our retail locations as well to our online customers.
We are hiring an enthusiastic Logistics Assistant Manager, reporting to Logistics Manager. This is an early hour’s position, with indicative schedule 5:00 – 14:00, Monday to Sunday availability.

Role and Responsibilities
· Deliver all Crosstown good to their destination.
· Assist the Logistics Manager in all administrative duties.
· Maintain a good relationship with all team members and other stakeholders.
· Provide accurate reports to Logistics, Finance and People Manager
· Ensure that all goods depart within deadlines, guarantying excellent quality
· Monitoring quality control and keeping warehouse capacity at optimal levels
· Ensuring that shipping methods complying with rules, regulations and laws
· Support the Logistics Manager with recruiting and coordinating logistics staff (e.g. truck driver’s) according to requirements and availabilities
· Managing logistics operations while controlling warehouse operations and advancing the efficiency of the supply chain
· Manage our internal fleet and ensure all administrative tasks are completed in a timely matter.
