About this role
This role is to assist within the Mick George Groups fast-paced, highly valued transport office, working underneath the Transport Team Leader. This role will allow the successful candidate full exposure to the world of logistics, assisting with our fleet of 400+ HGVs and 300 Small goods vehicles. No experience required, full training will be provided, along with lots of potential development opportunities available.
- Manage the core administration of driver recruitment, processing applications, arranging interviews with Transport Managers and organising onboarding.
- Administrate all driver training and Health and Safety requirements, ensuring all records are stored accordingly.
- Processing of invoices, checking costs against the relevant data bases and purchase orders
- Raising purchase orders and correspond directly with suppliers
- Adhoc admin duties such as filing and scanning documents
