Job description
Due to an opening in our MP&L team, we are looking to recruit an experienced and confident administrator with an MP&L, transport and/or warehouse background.
The role holds key responsibilities within that department and the chosen candidate will contribute greatly to the day to day operations that occur on site.
The role entails the following;
- Taking front desk phone calls, extracting the necessary information to correctly transfer calls internally or to take details to pass on
- Daily stock takes for our customers
- Completion of CMR and other customer inbound documentation
- Raising of delivery notes (internal system)
- Raising of invoices (internal system)
- Raising and supplying of purchase orders (internal system)
- Labelling and visual check of outbound products prior to loading
- General administration duties
- Email and phone contact with our customers based within the UK and various European countries based around MP&L requirements and issues
- Regular liaison with couriers such as DHL
- General tasks and projects as requested by Management
- Assist where necessary on the FLT providing necessary cover and support to the shop floor MP&L team
The ideal candidate will have the following skills;
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent phone manner
- Excellent written communicator
- Confident communicator at all levels
- Ability to use internal systems
- An understanding of UK and international shipping paperwork
- Can work under instruction or on your own initiative
- An ability to use transferrable skills in other areas if required
- Methodical and organised
- A keen eye for detail with a high level of accuracy to your work
- Well presented
- A current FLT Counterbalance license would be a distinct benefit

The core hours are;
Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 4:00pm
Overtime is expected in this role, and any candidates applying for this role must have the willingness and ability to work overtime.
