Full time, 37 Hours Per Week, Permanent
Salary:
Band H £31,099 - £33,820
Band I £34,723 - £37,261
Band J £38,296 - £41,496

We cover the North, Central, and South areas of the borough have a base in the town centre and a regional office in Maltby.
Our Locality Teams work with adults of all ages, who are experiencing the impacts of short- or long-term health conditions, physical and/or cognitive impairments. We work holistically to support carers and families, valuing the support they provide too.
Every day is different, and the breadth of localities work spans across duty interventions, assessment and care management, safeguarding adults, and court of protection work. If you are looking for a role to make the best of your skills and experience this is role for you!
About You:
We are looking for both newly qualified and experienced social workers who share our vision and aspirations for people - social workers who want to make a difference.
As our ideal candidate you will:
Have knowledge and experience of applying statutory legal frameworks and policies including the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Making Safeguarding Personal, and Continuing Healthcare Frameworks.
Root your practice in compassion, social work values and theories, understanding the why of what we do in our unique profession, to best promote people’s wellbeing.
Be confident in working with situations of varying complexity, and be able to make appropriate decisions quickly to support those in crisis, and to ensure people are seen and supported in a timely manner.
Know how to work with our partner agencies to help people find solutions to maximise their independence and resilience, enabling people to take positive risks, and lead good lives.

From 1st April 2017 to 31st March 2024 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a weekly / monthly deduction (dependent on pay frequency) from each pay period over the full financial year.
