Localisation Project Coordinator – Global Social Media Brand – 12 month contract – £285 per day PAYE (Inside IR35) – Fully Remote
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Localisation Project Coordinator / Project Manager to join a global social media brand. This position is suitable for someone who can work independently, proven to be technically resourceful and able to communicate with stakeholders.
This is a fast paced environment and therefore requires someone who has a track record on process improvement and being able to manage multiple tasks.
Role and Responsibilities:
Create and execute on the localisation schedule.
Review, prioritise, and track progress of issues that affect localised product content relevancy, quality, and functionality
Work with vendors to ensure all assignments are understood, timelines are followed, and deliveries completed correctly and on time
Identify and flag localisation workflow issues or opportunities for process or tooling improvement/efficiency
Support cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to ensure localisation requirements are implemented and localisation process is well understood
Essential Skills and Experience:
1-3 years of experience with localisation engineering and/or management
Experience with localisation platforms, file formats and understanding of CAT tools – such as SDL Trados Studio, Idiom, WorldServer or any similar in-house localisation tools and platform that manage and/or automate translation workflow
Work with vendors to ensure all assignments are understood, timelines are followed, and deliveries completed correctly and on time
Desired Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of standard web technologies such as PHP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and accessibility
Engineering and/or hands-on programming experience
Package:
£240 – £285 per day PAYE (Inside IR35) – depending on location
12 month contract
