Purpose of the role
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Localisation Assistant. Working closely with the wider Localisation team, plus our game development and marketing teams, you will be passionate about delivering a high-quality local experience for our games. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for an entry role into Localisation within the games industry.

Responsibilities

    • Coordinate the translation of live game content and marketing assets into multiple languages
    • Work with external vendors to source translations ensuring timely deliveries in the desired quality
    • Work closely with multiple departments to resolve problems
    • Provide language support to other departments as needed, for example player support and community engagement.

About you

    • ESSENTIAL:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Understand the challenges around the transcreation of marketing copy
    • Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
    • A passion for languages and a positive attitude
    • Excellent attention to detail

    • DESIRABLE:
    • Formal qualification in translation, linguistics or creative writing
    • Previous industry experience in videogames or localisation
