What is the opportunity?
You will support loan trading with documentation, closing and settlement of bank debt in the primary and secondary markets, subject to LMA/LSTA guidelines.
What will you do?
Review trade tickets booked on ELTA for accuracy. Document any discrepancies and correct the ELTA ticket
Review credit agreement assignment provisions to determine eligibility of assignee and borrower consent requirements
Prepare trade documentation and send to counterparty or enter on to Clearpar as appropriate
Resolve P&L issues raised by trading desks and Product Control
Prepare NDA (Master Confidentiality Agreements) and deal specific Schedules
Assist the Manager Trade Administration with the preparation, issue, amending and cancellation of trade instruments incl Letters of credit and guarantees
Assist the Manager Loans Agency with administering syndicated loans
Assist the Director, Credit Transaction Management as required to ensure smooth running of the group in London
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Well versed in LMA/LSTA standards for per loan trading with previous experience in closing loans
Strong interpersonal skills ideally suited to working in a team environment and reconciling competing strategic interests
Sound judgement, particularly in credit/documentational matters
Strong administrative and organisational skills thus being able to effectively prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
