About the role

  • Location: East Devon, based at Greendale Business Park
  • £1000 Bonus (£500 on starting / £500 after successful completion of 6 month probation)
  • £13.55 per hour
  • 6 month probation period
  • Opportunity to earn a monthly bonus
  • Working days: Monday - Friday
  • Working hours: 6.30AM – 3:15PM, 41.25 per week

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and the operation of LGV vehicles collecting household waste and recycling from the residents of East Devon, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our Health and Safety rules at all times.


What are the requirements?

  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.
  • An LGV Category C licence as well as a valid DQC (CPC) card are essential.
  • Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable, however is not essential.
  • Experience of working with Stillage Vehicles – Kerbside Loaders and RCVs is desirable but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
