We’re looking for a Loader to join our Kier Environmental Services Team based in Bridgend. Within this role working among a great team, carrying out the recycling & waste service contract we hold with Bridgend County Borough Council.
Location: Tondu, Bridgend
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know
Responsibilities
As a Loader, you’ll be working within the Kier Environmental Services Team supporting them in various areas.
Your day to day will include:
- Loading and unloading waste materials
- Drive / operate vehicles and equipment as required by the company in accordance with the valid licence, experience and training for that vehicle / equipment
- Completing & returning important paperwork to the depot.
- Undertake any training / instruction required to carry out these duties and or deemed necessary to fulfil the role
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles and equipment to a high standard, including daily vehicle checks on any vehicle
- Deal with customers and non-Kier personnel in a responsible and professional manner
What are we looking for?
This role of Loader is great for you if:
- Holder of Full Drivers’ Licence and able to travel
- Experience within a maintenance background
- Understanding of Health and Safety and Statutory responsibilities
- Organized approach, able to meet deadlines
