Live in nanny in Lyon, France - ASAP London, England
Job description
A lovely family based in France are looking for a live in nanny to help them take care of their 2 year old.
They are based in Lyon and have a lively and energetic boy who loves to make people laugh and be engaged in a lot of activities and has a good routine.
He is attending nursery 3 days per week and mum does most of school runs, but would expect nanny to help with school pick ups.
The nanny would be expected to help in the afternoons and evenings, 5-6 days per week.
They would like to find a nanny who is native or fluent English speaker as the boy can already understand English and they would like nanny to help him further develop his language skills. Duties include entertaining the child and engaging him in fun and educationally focused activities, helping with dinner, bath and bed time.
They have full time housekeeper and nanny would just need to prepare occasional meal for the child, mostly on the weekends.
The ideal candidate would be someone experienced with toddlers and knowledgable of their developmental stages. Someone friendly and bubbly who can also be discreet when needed. It is very important for them to find a candidate who can be flexible with timings and schedule.
The nanny is expected to travel with the family, mostly on the weekends to the South of France and 2 longer trips per year in France/Europe.
They have a dog at home, a golden retriever and the nanny should be comfortable with animals.
Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom on the top floor of the house.
Salary: €500 - €600 gross per week
Days and hours: Wednesday to Sunday- 2pm on non nursery and 4.30pm on nursery days until 8pm. Up to 4 evening babysitting per week. The nanny should be flexible as the parents have busy social schedule and the hours and days off might not be the same every week.
They would like the nanny to join them ASAP.
