You get to know the person you live with very well – you know their habits and routines, their favourite tv-programmes their families and friends, what food they like and what makes them happy. And often, you hear the most interesting life stories. As a live-in carer, you are much more than just a ‘care worker’. You are a companion, a confidante, and often a friend. Many of our live-in carers stay with the same client for a long time and form lasting bonds. You will get your own supporting manager in the office, who is there to answer your questions and help you when needed. They will touch base with you regularly to discuss how you are doing and whether there is anything we can do to help. What do you need? · The right to live and work in the UK · A valid driving licence and your own car · To complete an advanced DBS (criminal records) check · No care experience is required (although it does help!) – we will offer you the training you need to feel confident in your role. If you’re interested in joining an award-winning, family run, friendly and supportive company do get in touch.
