The Home Instead Aylesbury Vale and North East Oxfordshire office was established in 2013, and since then we have always been passionate about supporting clients within the communities we serve, to help positively change the face of aging.
We are looking for someone with kind, compassionate heart who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients, to join our team as a Live-In Carer.
As a Live-In Carer, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent. You will work to maintain the clients quality of life, continuously document notes in relation to the client, and maintain regular contact with the Care Manger.
Additionally, you will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
'People skills' are also a requirement where you will maintain a positive relationship with both the client and their family.
All care requirements will be outlined by the client. The following list gives some potential requirements and is not exhaustive:
Bathing & personal grooming
Companionship
Helping with mobility
Helping to keep the client active
Light housework
Meal preparation and monitoring of clients diet
Medication reminders
Running errands
Toilet & continence care
Trips out of the house
As a live-in Carer you will be responsible for providing round the clock care for our clients within their home, While the list above outlines the potential tasks which are required, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the client can continue to live life to the full in their own home.
Rates of pay are from £735 per week, subject to higher rates based upon qualifications and the requirements of the package.
This role requires at least one year of experience in a care setting or a similar role. However what we look for most is someone with a kind compassionate heart, who wants to make a real difference to the quality of life for our clients.

As a Live-In Carer, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay in and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, you will be offered comprehensive training by the company as well as round the clock support.
