Live-in Carer Required in SE18 Area
We are looking to fulfil the role of a Live-in Carer for our Supported Living Provision within the Royal Borough of Greenwich and Bexley.
- Experience of working with people with Mental Health and or Learning Disability is preferred but not essential.
- Have relevant skills and practice around people with mental health needs, this involves close monitoring and support both in- house and in the community .
- Liaison with external agencies such as Social services, GP and other care professional.
- Attend meetings and scheduled appointments with clients including Ward Rounds, CPA etc.
- Ensuring the clients needs are met on a daily basis. This includes supervision and prompts to attend to personal care, meal preparation, medication administration and other identified needs as stipulated in the care plan
- You will also be responsible for capturing the changing needs of the clients and maintaining all administrative records (both manual and electronic), ensuring they are up to date and according to set standards.
- Manage incoming calls to the service in a professional manner and ensure all queries are positively dealt with.
- Report all emergencies to the Service Manager on time including incidents, accidents and occurrence.
- Liaise with the Service Manager to ensure the service is running smoothly and all aspect of care for the service users is managed effectively.
- Taking responsibility in managing the finances of clients on their behalf and keeping accurate and transparent financial records.
- Maintaining a clean environment at all times and reporting all faulty equipment/items to the Service Manager in a timely manner.

IMMEDIATE START
Salary: From £750.00 per week including weekly travel allowance to support clients for appointment and feeding allowance of £30 Weekly.

COVID-19 considerations:
Regular Lateral Flow Test and weekly PCR. Staff should be vaccinated with both doses or must be willing to comply to the compulsory vaccination programme for all Health and Social Care workers
