We are currently seeking a highly organised, professional and energetic Linen Porter to join our Accommodation Services team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £27,657 / annual salary - comprising a base salary of £24,157, plus a qualified estimate of £3,500 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

  • Delivering clean linen and collecting all dirty linen from the service rooms, striving to always maintain accurate stock levels
  • Routinely and accurately assessing the quality of our delivered linen to ensure this is consistently of the highest standard; efficiently conducting stock counts on a weekly basis
  • Maintaining tidy and hugely well organised services areas; proactively reporting any maintenance required in our public areas
  • Working flexibly to support your colleagues across our departments, building strong working relationships to deliver an efficient and intuitive service across the estate
  • Attending monthly departmental team meetings and contributing to the team’s continued success
  • Ensure that recycling is carried out in line with company and departmental procedures and standards
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

  • Ideally, you have previous experience and a great track record of success within a similar role, however we’ll ensure you’re fully equipped to carry out your new role with us
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
  • You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
  • A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
