Job: Business Analyst (LIMS/ Pathology)
Contract: Permanent/FTC
Salary: Negotiable
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: A remote model of work with occasional visits to site

Job Summary
As a LIMS/ Pathology Business Analyst you will play a crucial role in optimising laboratory processes and data management systems. You will be responsible for analysing, documenting and implementing business requirements related to LIMS/ Pathology applications, ensuring seamless integration with laboratory workflows.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Analysing data and information and presenting this to a range of users e.g. mapping ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes
· Managing conflicting deadlines and prioritise own workload maintaining a consistent high-quality output
· Working with the use of laboratory procedures within the NHS in either LIMS, Pathology, Blood Sciences, Blood Transfusion, Histopathology or Microbiology
· Collaborate with software developers and technical teams to configure and customise the LIMS/ Pathology application based on business requirements
· Create comprehensive and detailed documentation of business requirements, process flows and functional specifications for LIMS implementation projects
Personal Specification
· Experience of working on large scale digital projects within the NHS
- Recent relevant digital work experience within the NHS or other large organisation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
