The opportunity
We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Licensing Account Director to join our growing CONTENTbible department. You will be responsible for generating new business leads and negotiating licensing opportunities, help manage inbound licensing enquires and manage client relationships to a high standard.
What the opportunity looks like
- Proactively generate repeat and new business opportunities, identify new media clients and manage inbound licensing requests from third parties, including: negotiating, generating video license agreements and any related delivery requirements
- Maintain client satisfaction and deliver a professional service to all new and existing clients
- Assist in research of suitable video options to match customer briefs to generate wider sales and actively pitch our latest UGC to potential customers
- You will work closely with our Submissions, Acquisitions, Social and Editorial departments
- Build and maintain a pipeline and generate monthly activity reporting
- Act as team representative in the media marketplace and provide first-class customer service to new and existing clients
- Ensuring all administration is completed accurately, in a timely fashion and to a high standard
Skills and experience we’d like you to have
- Sales background gained within a publisher or content licensing environment, video licensing is highly preferred
- Good knowledge of copyright ownership and IP law
- Experience negotiating content licenses, agreements and managing customer relationships
- Existing clients and contacts within TV networks, production companies and/or publishers
- Impeccable attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to easily build relationships with others
- Personality profile to fit in with a high-growth, entrepreneurial culture that requires teamwork and significant interaction with employees at all levels
