Blackpool's eight libraries are at the heart of their communities and play a vital role promoting literacy, enabling digital access, supporting customers with enquiries and providing a safe and welcoming place for residents.
The post will be based primarily at Library@TheGrange and will include working alternate Saturdays. This post involves working mornings and afternoons, across a 4 or 5 day rota. There is a requirement to work at any library in Blackpool within your working hours when needed.
About you:
- You thrive on working in a busy customer focused environment.
- You have a good working knowledge of ICT and ability to assist customers with digital services.
- You would enjoy getting involved in library activities and events for customers of all ages, including Baby Bounce & Rhyme, author visits and social groups
- You have an enthusiasm for books and reading
