What we are looking for

Northampton School for Boys is looking for a Library Administrator to share in our ambitious, supportive and aspirational culture who can help to deliver our reading curriculum to the highest standards. The Library is a vibrant hub within the School, where we encourage our students to enjoy a wide range of quality reading materials both in structured lessons and during breaks, lunchtimes and after school.
You must be highly motivated with a desire to support students with a range of reading needs – from those who don’t know what books they would enjoy, to others looking for their next challenging adventure. We are seeking a Library Administrator who can engage with our students – particularly in Years 7 and 8 – to foster the comprehension, inference and deductive skills needed to strengthen their reading profile. We also need you to be highly organised, able to manage a considerable budget, and track deliveries, stock and orders.
