We are actively seeking an experienced HGV driver with warehouse experience to join our high performance team in Birmingham.
Driver / Warehouse Operative will assist with the preparation, maintenance and delivery of audio systems for Solotech's busy hire department.

Your day will look like this:
- Multi drop driving duties around the local and surrounding areas. This may include overnights when required.
- Delivering to our various UK office locations
- Store, organize and rotate stock utilizing proper storage methods and procedure
- Prepare, pack and load equipment for delivery
- Load and unload delivery courier/transport vehicles containing a variety of equipment
- To ensure equipment is delivered within timelines and with appropriate packaging and documentation
- Do regular checks on warehouse vehicles for fluid levels, proper tyre pressure and cleanliness, report potential safety issues or service needs
- To assist in the preparation and maintenance of audio systems within the warehouse
- To assist in general warehouse operation and organization
- To assist with stock management
- To report to managers any anomalies, lost, stolen or damaged equipment
- The role may be required to assist, or cover for, other roles within the operating for which full training/support will be given
Your profile:
HGV (class 1 or 2) driving Licence and uptodate CPC Certification- Full, UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points and at least 5 years driving experience (required)
- Driving: 2 years (required)
- Strong communication skills
- Forklift license (Reach or counterbalance) would be an advantage
